Well..you cut your BS first..just because Its not first hand doesnt mean it is unreal..just because I posted on IV doesnt mean I expected IV to take up this case..just b'coz sucker like you saw two different lanes in the airport doesnt mean all airports are like that..I posted my experience in the airport I travelled thru..I dont have to prove to morons like you.
You dont need to be best and brightest to tell me that Airports have different lanes..Oh..yeah...how will I know..I sneaked through Texas border...I never said all ppl stand in the same lane..I said, queues are different but unless you are deaf to your a** you can hear most of the conversation..atleast I did..I dont care if you didnt in your case?
different lanes means like up to 5 to 20 lanes for only citizens and gc holders.there will be some space with the division with that belt u see in airports and then up to 5 to 20 lanes for visa holders.number of lanes differ based on the size of the airport.this is what i have seen in newark,ATL,PHI,CLT,MIA.now ur friends might be in corner lane and then there is space and then that visa holder who got sent back is also in corner lane to be able to hear if at all it is possible to hear.so now tell me which airports do not have separation like that. any one can pitch in.i could hardly hear the next person questions how come ur friend had heard in the above scenario.beats me...

USCIS and Consulates submitted a list of Documentarily Qualified applicants to DOS on July 8th. The latest PD of the applicants on that list was before 01-June therefore they have set the PD at 01-June-2006.
What is documentarily qualified?
This part is self-explanatory. It seems that USCIS made a list of all the applicants to Jul 08 by setting PD to Jun 01, 2006.
Documentarily Qualified might possibly imply:
.. Medically OK
.. FP and Name Check OK
.. Everything in application is consistent (e.g. DOB, Name, Kids, Spouse)
.. Requires No RFE
.. Requires no interview
.. Just requires GC (Visa) Number

It is possible for every city to have at least one usps office to be open on Sunday. They have a different day off.
Just go to the USPS website and locate an office that is open on Sun.
I live in the Detroit area. I know atleast 2 postoffices that are open 24 hours.

i suggest rather than talking big words, lets do something.
like someone on immigrationportal has drafted a letter to time warner stating the misrepresentation of facts by that rascal lou dobbs about h1b visa holders.
IV core team, once this july fiasco is dealt with, lets draft a long letter and send it to these senators with a copy of our pay stubs showing them that we pay what americans pay.
i had written letters to my senators and congressman and to NPR abt. the July 2007 fiasco. The more we stand by each other, the more difficult for anti-immigrants and racists to penetrate.

A friend of mine (from India) got his GC approval notice on 6/3. Here are the details:
LC PD - April 12 2003.
I-485 RD - June, 07, ND - July 16th 2007.
Filing Center - NSC
Received RFE 5/14/08.
Submitted reply 5/30. USCIS ack 5/31. Soft update again on 6/02.
6/03 received email about card production ordered.
Congrats to all those lucky souls.
any idea on waht the RFE was?

Here is the issue: If you are thinking of doing MBA to get a management job in a US company and are an Indian, please forget it. You might get a low level management position paying at most 80K. MBA is not for everyone - you have to have it in you to get something out of an MBA. It's not about landing that good job. You hear about the 1 crore offers that IIM students get from top American companies? Well, they are kicked out of the job in 1 year and then join Infosys or Wipro. Not because they are not brilliant but because their conversational skills are terrible and so is their language. Unless you are planning to settle in India OR REALLY THINKING OF PUTTING A LOT OF EFFORT in mastering the English language and your outlook, an MBA is not going to serve you in the US.
Like, someone said, an MBA is more than just a degree. You can get a better, much higher paying job (300K+) without an MBA but with excellent logic, hard work, conversational skills and outgoing personality. No GC required :)
