This depends on the quid pro quo for the equity shares. Are they being given to you in exchange for a passive capital investment in the company or as compensation for work you have performed or are performing?

Can scanned copy be submitted to USCIS for affidavit of birth or we have to submit the affidavit in original?

You mean photocopy right? If you have scanned copy then print it and send it to USCIS. I don't think they require it in original.

Actually I think that special treatment may be for all H1-b renewals. When we went for our stamping 3 years ago at Delhi, at the outside window they stamped our passport with "green" sticker or something like that and when we entered the hall at the FP window, they said you don't need to stand in line and we were taken directly to AO. We did not have children and it was my 2nd H1 renewal stamping and my wife's first H4 renewal stamping.

I am in company A on H1B and doing H1B transfer to Company B.
Company B is saying that I can join the same day on which the H1B transfer packet is received by USCIS.
if the docs are delivered on SEP 01 2009 can I join on the same day, or I should join from SEP 02 2009
With the current trend and chances of improper filing, I would not recommend you to join based on delivery receipt. Instead, you can join after you receive the receipt notice or approval. If I were you, I would choose the latter.

No new PIO card is required unless 15 yrs is up. Get it endorsed with the new passport # on your PIO card from the embassy/consulate.

Hmm... I'm not good at comments, so I'll do the obvious one and let the others handle the rest... :)
In your third shot (the colour shot of a guy sitting), the hand is sharp and in focus, but the face is washed out, almost as if someone had used PS to severly soften it? What's that about? Is the hand really that much in front of the face, or is something else going on? (It looks like he is leaning forward, but I guess not enough)

First off, thank you for taking the time read this.
Now I did see a lot of discussions around this topic but could not get a real answer to my situation, Can someone please help me understand this better.
Currently working for the same employer who started my GC process, Labour applied and approved in Sep 06, I-40 approved in 2007, 485 pending. I'm with the employer for 6 years now. I have a masters degree (MCA) but the job does not require a masters when I joined. I have my bachelors (both 3yr degrees from India). I have close to 10 years of professional experience.
Do I qualify for the port, assuming my job does not require masters degree. Thank you all in advance.

2. Can I do premium processing on my I-140 in the concurrent filing?
Yes, absolutely!
3. Does premium processing available if another I-140 is already pending based on my LC Sub?
No, you cannot file another I-140 in PPS when another is already pending as per USCIS premium processing conditions.

She wants to apply for H4 visa. What is the procedure? She wants to discontinue her study after she applies for H4. Is this possible? Her next semester starts from June. What documents would she need from her husband(pertaining the job) to apply for h4?
