I am Primary on H1B working 30 hrs base as a full-timer with benefits. If I understood you correctly I can lower my base to 20 hrs per week (without benefits) and still be on H1B visa?

Just food for thought. At this time there are 28600 EB1 visas. Most in the EB1 category are current or pretty close to it.
As a matter of fact, EB-1 annual limit = 28.6% of 140K = 40,040 and it has been current for a while.

Since I did my master's here. I think they filed my case under EB1...I need to re-check. If this is the case then how long does it take. Yes I'm an indian.
EB1, EB2 and EB3 depend NOT on your personal qualifications but on the job requirements, which are:
EB3 - BS or BS+<5 yrs
EB2 - BS+>5 yrs or MS
EB1 - PhD

i woudl think the actual number porting is miniscule...
but what i dont understand is why is USCIS hiding the data..why cant they reveal the exact number of application... and at what stage they?
Even an annual release would be very helpful...:confused:
It may be a common thing - swaying away from EB3 to Eb2 for earlier PD holders and there by choking up some EB2 space but shouldn't that cause loosening ( i'm not talking substantial ) in EB3 Priority Date ?
I mean EB3 India Priority Dates seems to have a Coma and that always hover around Aug/Oct 2001 - for last few years its like , it moves like some months and then scrolls down.

All: I applied for advance parole on Feb -9 , delivered Feb -11. I filed under new fees structure and hence I am exempt from fees. I clearly mentioned that in the letter. However, till date I have received no receipt. How should I handle this?
Just as a follow up, The receipt notice arrives 30 days after the application; we got our receipt notice approximately 30-35 days after the application was received. Now we are awaiting to see if the Advance Parole is approved. Incidentally fingerprinting was also required and we had been to the ASC center for fingerprinting this past friday. The FP notice came after the AP package was received by USCIS. I believe they are running FP as a normal turn of events when applying for FP for most individuals if not all.

I am sorry to offend some of you by bringing up this subject again. But I think we are just asking for acknowledgement for the contribution we have made when we were attending graduate programs in the US. It was a lot of over time and hard work with literally no payment other than money for room and board. Some may get their names attached to the paper that is published and get their Green Cards quicker for that. But some don't.

I recently found a project (after many months) and am working for this new employer on EAD. However, I have not vacated my old apt....still paying rent and keeping it as my current one, and sharing accommodation with others in the new city where I am working....because of the only reason that I fear, which is an RFE.
Please let me know.

It should be mentioned that Rector is the ideological guru of immigration restirictionists like Loo Dobbs, NumbersUSA, FAIR, CIS, Jeff Sessions and Tom Tancredo (I bet we'll remember these names in the years to come...).

Do you have your 140 receipt and please post the status if the status is updated to denied/revoked/withdrawn.
Not sure in your case is luck or is 485 receipt is just enough for unlimited H1B extensions?
What do you think you can get another extension after 3 yrs with the same scenario as you had for this extension?
