You will get the approval notice letter mailed to your home address. Please read it word by word. If they mention about "any ADIT processing" then schedule an appointment and do the ADIT. Other wise sit cool and your GC will be on your Way to your home address by ordinary post:cool:.

We got the same exact Email or online status update but we also got the Aproval notice which didn't say about anything about ADIT so we didn't worry and got the GC card the next day.




OK.
I got the magic mail today welcoming the new permanent resident.
It talks about ADIT processing(see below).
What does this mean?

I haven't received "CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED" email.
It is normal?

If you move before you get your new card call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

Hi,

Pay stubs & Tax returns for all your stay in USA are most important. Some times, you may be asked to submit w2 form for all your employer changes. If you have worked with company that had a H1B transfer denial, You need to have pay stubs & w2 form from that company also.

The office at any USA consulate may ask you the following items,
1. recent pay stubs (Probably for 3 months)
2. W2 form from your old company & new company (If you have worked for 2 companies in the FY 2007.
3. Last pay stub from your old company & first pay stub form your new company. This is to verify your continuity on the work

Dear Sabeesh,

Although I'm not a lawyer, I will respond based on my knowledge and my own case.

1) You don't need to stamp any visa as you already have a visa that is valid until September, before your return date.

2) You will only be able to enter the US with the latest visa stamped on your passport.

3) You may want to get a new visa (associated with Company C) while you're still in India, so it will be valid until Nov 2011. You can have this new visa issued and stamped even before your current visa expires.

If the new visa is not granted or somehow one goes into 221(g) waiting for some check, what happens then? Can you still come back on current visa?

Fellows in pain ...

It's been horribly long 10 years and many complications along the way but my journey seemed to have reached the end. This morning I got a magically enchanted email:

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS
Current Status: Card production ordered.

I am still at awe and can't believe ... probably will never do until I get the physical card.

For those interested:
EB3 ROW - Dec 2004 (first application was April 2001)
I filed 765 and 485 in June of this year


Congratulations man!

now here is the stream of questions :)

You are required to send a notice to your lawyer letting him know that you no longer require his/her service. Also notify USCIS in writing that your lawyer does not represent you anymore and send correspondence to you directly. If any USCIS notice addressed to you was transmitted to your former counsel, it should be available to you from counsel. You may wish to request forwarding of all post-representation correspondence that arrived after representation ceased. Although that lawyer may have no obligation to perform any services for you, the office should not impede your ability to answer USCIS requests. You should call the service center and request a copy of any correspondence that was sent to your lawyer until the lawyer sends a notice to USCIS letting them know that he no longer represents your case or until another lawyer files a G-28 for you.

So it seems that there is no official form to file to notify USCIS that the lawyer doesn't represent me anymore right?

Received card production ordered email today!!!

For all those whose spouses are in F1 status do not worry

I applied through my husband(EB3 July 2004) and i was on F1 when i applied with him. Got funding through F1. Did not use 485 EAD.

Graduated but did not apply for OPT and started using 485-EAD to work.

Well... one more thing our lawyer forgot to include our BC while applying.
Actually he had them when he mailed them initially in DEC 2004 but got rejected and after he came back from vacation in March 05 he reapplied based on the rejected mail in Dec 04 and its then when he forgot to include BC.

I was ver scared reading about F1 being non immigrant visa blah blah... and should not apply for GC..blah blah..unfortunately i could not find a similar case like me...recently i saw a lot of people applying in F1 ...

I am happy to tell...do not worry if you are on F1 and
do not travel on F1 visa
Do not apply for OPT ( my limited knowledge advice)
Your lawyer knows the best!

Regarding LUDs:
If you guys see LUDs on your cases atleast one...be very happy...that means they are about to give you a green card...

I am planning on attending the Rally to show my support to 1V

I hope 2007 will be lucky to every one

Believ me journey through 485 process is nerve-wracking...
Just think if it really makes a difference think about it ...no

Person traveling with AP does not require Transit Visa if u dont plan to go outside of Frankfurt airport for what so reason.I had traveled via Frankfurt on 01/07/09.

Please do check with German consulate.

Just a quick comment on S4165504 reply based on my experiences that I posted before on the same thread.

The airport immigration counter or the CPB offices can correct only the mistakes from their side, and that too only within 2 or 3 days. But for cases where the I-94 expired, they dont consider it as a mistake on their side and immediately ask you to leave.

In fact, for my case when I called the LA airport immigration counter office, they adviced me that I can only go to the CPB office in downtown for any corrections and cannot come to the airport office.

I think there's a whole lot of people who haven't received a notice for the second round of FP and there is a group who have received it too.

My attorney also suggested that uscis is working on reusing the initial FP. Not sure if there's any truth to this.

Can you please let me know which service center (Texas or Nebraska) processed yours and your wife's I485 application.

If you don't mind can you please let me know how long it took to receive I-485 receipt notice and Finger print notice (for your wife).

My situation is

Priority date is 08/01/06 (EB2). Becoming current on June 1st 2011. Need to add my wife as dependent to my green card process (she is in US in H4 status now). Texas Service Center is processing my I-485.

Filed at : Nebraska Service Center

For Wife
Filed 485 on March 10, Finger printing May 6th, GC Approved May 9th, GC received May 13th

My Wife was on EAD/OPT based on her student visa (and not on H4)

hang in there...3-5 months will fly by... heck 2008 is almost over!

... at least wait until the october bulletin is out... that may give you a better idea whether you want to use ac 21 or not

kaisersose, is it mandatory for the beneficiary to sign the approved labor before attaching it to the I140 application ?

According to the legal assistant:

Traditional Labor:

Incase of substitution the beneficiary has to sign the approved labor. Otherwise it is not required.

PERM: Requires beneficiary's signature.
